    Sony Viao PCG-392L Battery Issues

    1) cousin got a battery off amazon. its recognized but not able to charge and the old one doesn't seem to even charge.

    2) battery won't charge how am i supposed to do bios update
    3) can't even get to bios screen so don't know which rev it is. (tried tab f12 del) nothing.

    only difference that i noticed was 4800mah to 5200mah but it should be compatible no matter what so why go through a bios update?

    what do you guys suggest me do?
