    If anyone has had this problem or can tell me what the fix is I would really appreciate it.

    The original problem was when I turned my computer on it would boot up normally with the OS screen coming on as normal then my desk top would go dark. Everything was there, I could see it using a flashlight and the computer would operate just the screen was to virtually black.
    After trying restarts and unplugging the power, removing the battery and no help I turned the brightness down to approx. 50% and the compuer worked. Then one day it broke went dark would come on flicker, go out, then hibernate. When I would jiggle the mouse it would come out of hibernation and work. I tried, was turning off the hibernation... then it got dark and wouldn't light up at all, so i turned the hibernation back on and now it is working again at about 50% brightness.
    Running windows 7, have not added anysoftware or downloaded anything. Anyone have any ideas?
