Hi,
I've been thinking of getting the FZ190 for some time now and right as I was going to order one, I noticed that they didn't have some sort of international warranty plan for it. My dilemma here is that I will be purchasing this laptop in the US and I will be going back to Canada for school, and apparently (this is what the sony reps told me) they don't have a plan that will cover me in Canada and I won't be allowed to buy an extended warranty in Canada to cover the unit. Anybody with experience on this and can tell me otherwise?
Anyways, the warranty seems somewhat important here since the FZ is one of the newer gen models and it hasn't been tried, test and true, but I've been leaning towards taking that risk and getting the FZ190 anyways. What do you guys think? Have Sony laptops been prone to causing all sorts of trouble when they first come out?
