    Sony Wireless Switch

    hello all!

    I have a sony and love it, the only problem i have is that sometimes when im online and my wireless switch is turned on i will lose my internet connection and the wireless light turns off, but the switch is still turned on. does anybody have any idea what this could be?

    It would help if you could specify what model your sony laptop is.

    This is a problem with the Intel wireless drivers, just get the update one from Intel. They have feature will it will scan you pc for Intel hardware and provide updates if necesary : Intel® Driver Update Utility

    Yes I had the same problem suddenly after 2 weeks of owning the laptop and updating the intel wifi driver fixed it. The driver that worked was not the latest one though - it was a something in between. One of the threads here has info on exactly which version of the driver it is that fixes this problem.
