Well I need you guys to help me out here.My stupid friend accidentally uninstalled the Wireless Switching Utility from my S380 and now I don't really see the need of actually refreshing the notebook because of the loss of just one single application.

Now all I need is a link so that I can download the Sony Wireless Switching Utility and get on with things . I would really appreciate if any of you would help me out on this.

    Cheers

Have you considered using the 'system restore' feature of XP? As long as you have a previous date saved for restoration (and XP usually does this by default) you can simply restore your computer back to before your friend deleted the program. I've had to use it many times on my desktop.

Is it a utility like on the TX where u press the Fn key to switch between bluetooth/wireless lan.. etc?

You can try to browse your recovery discs (assuming you made them)

Is there any advantage compared to use the Windows's default wireless utility?
