Hello, Happy New Year to everyone here.

Just wondering if anyone has a problem with their laptops randomly crashing. I'm talking about laptops that are otherwise perfectly functional, with no software/hardware/firmware/updates since 2011.

    I have a 13.3 Y series (VPCY2xxx), and today (Jan 2nd 2012), it crashed twice randomly.

First crash I got a bluescreen with some gibberish and "Unknown Hard Drive problem".
Second crash I got another bluescreen with some gibberish and "... AMD Driver issue..."

Anyone with similar issues ever since 2012 came along?

Well this is fun... 5minutes after posting, it crashed again.

This time around the bluescreen had this gibberish...

"... failed to reset display driver... shut down to protect..."

    -.-
