Sears blew out the Sony Y for $114. It's OOS according to the website but from experience, the website isn't always accurate for in store inventory. I've gotten things on clearance in store that the website says was OOS at that store. Not worth going out of your way for, but worth a check if you are going to Sears anyways.

    Sears Outlet

I know, unrealistic at 80% or so off. Crazy. Sears does it all the time though. They blew out the Ps for like 75% off.

How have your experiences been in regards to the item's condition? I noticed they're "reconditioned" and am a little wary of that. Either way, one location's abuot ten minutes from where I live, so I may check this out.

Sears doesn't sell refurbs or "reconditioned" items. That's Sears speak for "clearance". Sometimes it's new, many times it's the display. There were 3 Nikon D3100 cameras marked as "reconditioned" on the website at my local store last month. They were all new.

Ah, good to know. I'll probably swing by one of the locations tomorrow, then. I only have giant Vaios (F21 and AW) so a Y series at this price wouldn't be bad at all. :)

hmm- If available- would the deal be at Sears stores, or Sears outlet stores?

I got off work yesterday morning and checked the site again. Oddly, the Y's listing no longer had a price nor a "buy" button. Either way, it was about a ten minute drive, so I waited for them to open before leaving my apartment. Checking the site once more before going, the Y vanished, haha.

Needless to say, they didn't have it at the outlet. One of the salespeople there told me that she never knew of them carrying computers, and upon asking another salesperson about the reason behind it being on the site but never in their store, he said they had them in other areas (states) but not where I'm at. Dallas, by the way, so don't check the ones here, haha.
