    Sony Z - Bios 2168M3

    The Australian support site for my Sony Z27 had a new bios version last week ( Ver.R2168M3), which I duly downloaded and installed. Strangely, this week the link is gone and it lists the latest bios upgrade as 'BIOS Upgrade Program Ver.R2165M3'

    A google search of BIOS Upgrade Program Ver.R2168M3 finds the pages, but when clicked they are listed as no longer available. The sony support site also links to the 2168 upgrade when it is searched, but the links go nowhere?

    Should I be worried? It seems strange to list, then de-list the upgrade; I wonder what was wong with it?

    ......................and now it's back again, reposted onto the Sony Ausralia support site. Guess it was a glitch with their website? Doesn't look any different to what I downloaded.

    I just applied this patch. Booting is a little faster. When I resume from sleep mode everything works fine.
    And I think that my vaio is much cooler now (both stamina and speed mode), but I'm still testing.

    2168M3 is a good update.
    (remember to remove bios password before patching)

    PS I'm on Win7 RC x64
