    Hey guys,

I received my new Z 550 a few days ago and am very pleased with it except for one small issue: when I press down along the side of the touch pad (the vertical scroll bar area) it makes a strange "clicking" sort of sound.

It's not exactly clicking - it's difficult to describe... perhaps the sound of an electric shock (though I don't think that is the issue, it seems to be physical).

It primarily occurs in the middle of the far left side of the pad - I can't conjure it anywhere else. Seems as there is a tiny amount of give beneath it that causes the sound.

In any event, has anyone else had this and perhaps found a way to fix it?

No - I've checked that. It seems to be a construction flaw.
