I have a sony z system model VPCZ122GX and when I stream videos off the internet the screen occasionally goes black and the computer makes a buzzing sound. When this happens none of the keys work and the only way to reset the computer is to hold down the power button. This problem only happens when the stream is in full screen mode. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you get all the updates? including graphics card drivers?

does it happen under both stamina and speed modes? is a power saving plan active telling the laptop to turn the screen off or power down when idle?

All of my drivers are up to date. So far the crash has happened On Speed mode and Auto mode. I also changed the power plan so that the display is never turned off or computer put to sleep when the computer is plugged in. Every time the crash has happened the computer has been plugged in.

okay go to the Sony USA site, for the VPCZ1390X and download the video drivers from there. that's the "latest" one... Sony never updated the ones on the VPCZ11/12 drivers site =.=. That should fix the problem
