Do the 9300 series cards have any problems from the defective card fiasco from Nvidia?
-
This is only an unconfirmed rumor spread by the Inquirer. I don't believe it's true.
As far as I know there have not been any incidences. -
its kind of early to have incidents, dont you think??
although i did experience some weird artifacts (for a brief second) while playing TF2, but the temps were around 60 and i was playing at 800x600 (doesnt really improve the fps compared to 1280x768) -
arent the 9300m running on the newer cores?
-
If they used the same design it wouldn't matter.
I suppose there is no way to find out unless someone can actually get hold of the production plan and the actual technical layout. -
I ev checked about this ...googled it basically....Only G84, G86, G92, G94 Chips have been affected...ours is G93..so no probs for this..n be assured its one of the best Gfx Chipsets from nVidia....apparently nVidia had to put a hold on the release of the G93 series into market as no one seemed to be anymore interested in G84 & G86...n they were piling up with nVidia...i got all this info. on some websites while I was investigating the G84 G86 issues....Sorry dunt hav the links as of now..but will update if i again find them
Hope this post releives many of the Z Series owners
including mee

Do you mind updating the NVidia thread with that?
Just to keep all the info in one place?
Sony Z notebook + Nvidia 9300M affected = bad video cards?
