my laptop have recently developed a problem, CPU usage would go 100% and everything would go dead slow, and restart is necessary to recover

it happens at random times while watching a move, or on skype, or just in MS Office...

it happens in Stamina and Speed mode

Since this problem started i have Clean installed windows 7
Changed antivirus to MS Security essentials, then got rid of antivirus all together (i thought that what was causing problems)
Still ever so often 2,3 times a week it will go to 100% CPU and I will have to restart
    PS
Also I have noticed that all browsers I have used IE8 ,IE9 RC, Chrome will take have multiple processes for them (for a single browser and it will take up to 50% of CPU) I this normal ?
How can a browser take 50% of 2 Core i7, when it runs fine on Asus EEEPC with 1Ghz single core Atom ?
    -----
    Specs.
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64x
    CPU - i7 620M
    Quad SSD
    8GB Ram
    DVD drive

    ---
Also sometime use HP Touchscreen with the laptop, just thought to mention since it will start touch services in windows

    Any help/advice appreciated

my best observation/guess its Network related coz at all times it happend i had somthing metwork related open IE8 or IE9 or Chrome and/or Skype and/or Network Drive and now Spezii says its "network of Windows Media Player" i disabled that service and removed it from msconfig... so far so good, but its only been 5 Houers since i done it... if i dont have any probems in next few days i will report back, other then that anyone else have any ideas ?
