Hi I am new to the forums on notebookreview and I hope someone will be able identify the problem tha occurs when I start my laptop. I just bought the sony z112 and when I start it up, an error shows up before it loads to windows. Everything runs fine, but I want to make sure there is nothing wrong with the ssd. I attached a picture with the error that occurs. For port 0, the type/status (volume ID) says that "Error Occurred" but I do not know what the error is. The picture will make more sense when you see it. Thanks for your help.

I bought it from the Microsoft Store. Do you know if this error is a problem?

It is probably worth returning that unit.

It's possible that the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" application could give you more insight into what the nature of the problem.

Run the app. and click on Manage, then click on that drive. Hopefully it will have more info than just "Error Occurred"

Fixed, ran the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" app on the intel site and the error message does not show up anymore. Thanks for the help.

So you entered the RST control panel and the error went away?

Did you run a "verify" pass?

Sorry for the late reply. I installed the Intel Rapid Storage Technology application and changed the status of the drive with the error message to normal and the error posting was gone in the boot up. Thanks for the help.
