So I'm trying to charge my phone through my Z12 but for some reason none of the USB ports seem to prove power. Are any of the USB ports powered? Thanks in advance!

Yes but phones can suck down a lot of power and if it's more than the Z provides then it will either charge slowly or not at all.

Do you mean if the USB ports are powered while the computer is off?

    I don't think that's the case.

It should definitely charge your phone when the computer is, however. If it's not working, you probably need to install some sort of drivers for your phone first.

Yes they are powered, but no they aren't high powered and can't be used to charge iPads.

Thanks for the replies. So the problem was that I had to install the phone software on my Z. Now it's charging just fine. Oh and it's a nokia n85.
