Anyone's help or suggestion on this model would be great.

    Z21ZN/X, Core 2 Duo P9500 2.53GHz, Vista Business/XP Pro Discs, 13.1" WXGA, GeForce 9M GS 256MB, 4GB (2x2GB) RAM, 128GB HDD, Blu-ray, 802.11ABGN WiFi, Bluetooth, Webcam, Fingerprint, HSDPA

Now the SSD is the problem here, can it be upgraded/replaced. I have been unable to determine if this model drive is a 1.8" or 2.5" drive and without popping the back open yet who the manufacturer is (micron or corsair??)

Any details, manual references would be helpful to know if this can be replaced with a suitable 256GB SSD. I understand that the drive in this model is a UATA connection.

If there is a drive what's the best solution to move the setup which is currently an XP downgrade, would this be Ghost or Acronis True image..?

    Thanks guys..

    it is 2.5" one,
if you just want to upgrade to a ssd, then a normal 2.5" sata ssd would be ok,
if you want to upgrade to the raid ssd, you need the raid cable and bracket.

Quick question for you, i see in your sig, you're running a 30gbSSD+ a 500gb drive.

Are they both 2.5" drives, or is one a 1.8 and the other a 2.5"? And if they are both 2.5" drives did you have to lose the DVD drive to make up for the extra space, like in the TZ's?

I use Acronis True Image. The trial version can already do it.

Sorry, I did not notice this post.

It is a really long story and a late reply,

Actually Z has enough room above the cd drive to put in a normal 2.5' ssd.

I have a short review about this.
