    Hi,

I just bought the last Sony vaio Z, with Ivy Bridge CPU.
I bought the power media dock too.

I was wondering if there is somewhere or someone who found (or made it) an extension for the cable of the dock.
I find the dock interesting, because this is some sort of a station, but I would appreciate to have a longer cable...

I tried to search for it in the forum, but perhaps I don't have the correct word to search for.

Thank you very much for your help with this.

    See you.

Someone already asked a similar question. The answer is NO, the cable is custom and there are no off-the-shelf extension cords.

    I hoped for that:
I know that sometimes people are able to make their own cables.
Some stores can make custom cable based on schema.
Thank you for the reply anyway, I will use my dock close to me for a while more

    Hey Sowen

I was thinking about getting the Z, and was wondering whether you felt the dock was worth the purchase? How much does the graphic processing power increase with the dock??
