This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Sony cancelled my order!!!!!

    I had placed an order by calling up Telesales for a refurb SZ340.
    The CS told me that the order has been placed and i will receive the delivery in 6-10 days.I have the email invoice stating the same.

    10 days later after loosing patience i called them thrice and finally they say that the order was cancelled because they ran out of inventory.

    They gave me a free shipping code, now that too does ot work.

    Should i drop the idea of buying a refurb sony vaio SZ??

    I would really appretiate ay help.

    It depends on how eager/needed a computer is for you.

    I guess it could be a good thing for you.

    You get to think longer if its really the notebook for you.

    Don't buy a refurbished sony vaio. Sony service is useless.
