Hey guys, i've find quite and annoying problem and need some help. Basically when i hit Fn and i think F5 or F6 it dims and brightens my screen. Although once you dim it it stays dim, it only does so until the next reboot. The screen is amazing on my FE and i'm unsure if anyone has had this. It's really freakin annoying when it keeps going to max brightness each boot. Anyway when i did a fresh install it didn't do this. I also tried updating the graphics drivers which did not help either. Any help would be appreciated

This is not any fault on your laptop; just what your Vaio Power Management is set to. Go to Start-Control Panel-Display-Screen Saver-Power-Vaio Power Management. There you can set all start-up settings for different Power schemes-meaning a different setting when running on battery or when plugged in.
