    Sony fe690 Standby/ hiberNation Issues

    hey, has any1 here experienced a problem with their Sony Fe690's when it tries to enter hibernation or stand-by?

    In my case, (during hibernation) you see the preparing to hibernate windows blue screen and then the monitor shuts off and the hibernation screen with the progress bar does not show up. THe laptop remains on though since the power light is on. This seems to occur randomly and Sony even replaced the HDD and memory. Any ideas if some software is causing this issue?

    The machine is sped'd at:
    T2400, 100 gb Hd, DVD+RW DL, Go7600, motion eye CAm, XP Prof.

    yeah did it alraedy but sony told me that they would no longer support my machine if i re-installed another version of windows on it.
