I realize each person has a unique experience with a manufacturer and has their own opinions, but before I get an s360 I'd like to hear everyone's stories, good or bad, about Sony's quality and support. I'd hate to get something and have a component go bad and then have difficulty getting it replaced.

    Thanks

So the lack of replies means Sony's quality & support is good? [ ;)]

No one has any positive or negative stories to share?

I have three Sony laptops and they are all top quality with no need for support, but there are other good and bad stories here on the board if you just flip through the pages a little more, including mine.

Some times it's hard to share the same story again and again, you know. Perhaps we should set up a thread just for people to share story and pin the thread on the first page.[ ;)]

Almost all sony products i have owned have failed or malfunctioned on me.
I have had 4 walkmans (all top of the line at the time) fail within a year or two.
I have had a VAIO desktop and it constantly freezes and overheats every 10 minutes.
Many headphones have just stopped working, and the only thing that still works wonderfully is my digital camcorder.
I have had some bad experiences with sony products, but i hope the quality has improved as I am also looking at the laptops.
However, I probably wont buy one because of my recurring bad experiences with the company.
