they gave me a deal, about 8% off but they forced me to get the noise cancellation headphone along with it at a "discounted" price. i just noticed they slashed all SA model's price by at least $150. they haven't charged my card yet since my model is still being built. is it too late to call them and ask for some money back.

You could always cancel your order and reorder a new one.

Cancel immediately. Don't bother threatening to cancel and let it drag out. Then buy again!

i've been lurking around this forum for over a month and checking Sony coupons and their website almost hourly and finally was able to use the student promotion to get the discount i got. at the time it seems was the best deal i could possibly get.

Wow - thats a shame! In my 50-some years, I've NEVER had anyone 'force' me to buy something.......

How did they do it - send someone to your house with baseball bat? gun? knife? Certainly an unpleasant experience, I'm sure.... Did you call the police?

    :) :) :)

Lol, but no, Sony does things like 10% off if you get an extended warranty + 2 accessories or something... (you can return all if you want and keep the 10% off)

I'd say keep calling... and ask to speak to a manager. Sound a little angry and threaten to cancel and return all

You should still be able to return parts of an order on an order of multiple items. Keep your sheet and cancel the computer.

It should just be like going to the store where you buy multiple items on one receipt and you want to return one.

not sure how that would work... for me i had student discount which gave the sheet battery free, so if i returned the main computer won't i like get the sheet battery like for real FREE?

Just ask for a price match. Sony has 30-day price guarantee. Tell them their base price is $150 lower and they will drop the base price and recalculate your total with the student discount and stuff.

Called Sony, guess what, they just processed my payment this morning. i should've called yesterday. they won't credit me back any money since they don't do "stacked promotion" (his words). my choices are after received the laptop, return it for full refund and order another one. or, return the headphone and/or sheet battery for some credit back. i think i'm gonna try to get the full amount of the headphone back by returning it.

I just went to Sony's site and saw that not only is the F series 2290x base price $100 cheaper then when I bought it (CTO) but they also combined the 2d version with the 3d one. There is only 1 model now and you choose whether you want 2d or 3d. Anyway when you call up Sony ask for Customer Care versus talking with the regular people who answer the phone. Once you have already bought it, they are really the only people who can give the discounts or money off.
