I just purchased a refurbished Vaio 14a flip svf14n11cxb and have a few questions for everybody out there! First of all, can the ram be upgraded on this laptop? I cannot find any information or service manual for this model, not even on Sony's webpage. It has 4GB of memory on it now. Best Buy's webpage states the ram is fixed, but I am not sure how accurate that is. Has anybody removed the bottom cover off of this model? I may do so just to take a look, but I am not sure if that will void the warranty. It shouldn't since ram should be considered a user replaceable/upgradable part. The screen also has two spots on it where the backlight bleeds. This occurs in the lower right and left of the screen and they both are lines of light maybe 1/8 of an inch long. You only can see them at startup when the screen is black. I have been considering exchanging it, but would like to know if anybody else has seen this on theirs. Thank you all in advance for any help you can be!
