    Hi,
the sz650 is available at bestbuy and has everything that i want and is $1650 currently at http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8450259&st=sony+sz&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1183767273908 I also decided to look at the sony sz780 which is also very nice and when i build to order i can remove the WAN which i don't need and bump up the processor speed to 2.4 penryn processor compared to the 2.2 the 650 has. both are the same exact price +/- $20 but i was wondering which i was better off buying and if penryn was worth buying online instead of going to best buy and getting it.

Buying the 650 at Best Buy would make the return process easier incase you end up with a lemon(The 600 series is known to have some screen issues) However, I'm sure they were resolved in the 700 SZ's. I suggest going with the 780, you'll have to wait a bit to receive it but you won't regret it.

The 780 has Penryn and is very cheap for its specs, especially with the carbon fiber casing!

The 650 and 780 are both premium models. Indeed the 780 is quite cheap, I'm not too sure this pricing will last though so hurry up and order. I'd get one if it wasn't just a processor upgrade. For now I'll just stick to my 650.

    Yes, I agree with Sponsi.

I would get the 780 if I were you, just because its pricing is superb for its current specs, but they are both absolutely excellent machines!
