Did WiDi work with the swap? I can't think of anything other than the drivers from Intel allowing it to work. Does your Device Manager have all the drivers it requires? Do you see support for Bluetooth via the Device Manager?

Put the old WIFI card back to see if BT works again.

Can you post a picture of your Device Manager with the WiDi-compatible card connected?

    Hi moelsaied88,

Wondered how you're making out with this upgrade as I've just ordered the same 6235 card for my Sony T13 series too...........
Please post any issues with this mod.
    Thanks, Geoff

It could be that the bluetooth bit of the wifi board is broken - unless this board came from a different laptop or you tested it on another laptop and it works. Well test it in another laptop to see if bluetooth works (if you haven't already done so). Then if it is broken get a replacement board from where you bought it.

i dont think its the chip itself, i think that there must be some kind of hardware switch to turn it on. i had the same for wifi but was able to turn it on through vaio smart network, there just isnt an option for bluetooth in it.

Ok got the Centrino 6235 card in this morning, so will try the install in my T13 next week sometime as I'm away for the long weekend. Any suggestions for me on the install would be greatly appricated.

Jamerican has videos up on youtube and on the third part he has a link to a tear down video, suffice it to say, this is an extremely easy mod. you should have no problems. Widi is working great, just having the problem with bluetooth. if you can figure it out please let me know.

Got around to installing the 6235 card on the weekend, I like you have everything working except bluetooth. Tried drivers from Intel site & Sony drivers from the S series to no avail. If anybody has tried this mod & got everything to work please let us know how........
    Thanks,
    Geoff
