Hello, i have sony vaio VGN-N11S laptop, its getting shutdown automatically by showing a blue screen and restarts withing 1 or 2 minutes automatically, after getting restarted a Microsoft error report says 'System had recovered from a serious error, send a report to Microsoft........'. Also i could notice whenever this issue happens one of the Network adapter ' Cisco System VPN adapter' is disabled by showing a redcross over the adapter name. I suspect due to this automatic disable of network adapter the system is getting the problem, could any one can help me to resolve this issue.

    thanks and regards

I totally understand I have the same problem with the same laptop! don't bother phoning support they can't help! the best advice is so simple....

.....get a big book like a telephone directory, or clothes catalogue, or any chunky book and put it under the laptop and don't go anywhere without it. the problems simple your laptop is overheating and this helps the air flow.

(also sometime i find some software affects it although i don't know if it actually connected or not!) hope this helps!!
