I have a cracked screen on my laptop and need a new replacment one, I've had a look on ebay, and have noticed there around £80, however I have noticed that the PCG series screen sell for much less, would these screens work in my SONY VAIO VGN S4Z?

    Cheers,

Segel, you have to make sure the model is the same to replace the screen! To my knowledge, the VGN SZ4 is the model number, but the PCG number is also a unique identifier. For example I have a VGN SZ4MN (bottom left corner of top panel), but on the bottom it says "Model PCG-6Q2M". As long as the replacement screen is suitable for either of those codes, it should fit. The 13.3" 1280x800 screen is a fairly screen from yesteryear so many different ones *should* fit, but it is always best to double check just in case!
