    Hi All,
I bought Sony vaio VGN-TX50b in Japan a week ago.
I installed english XP Pro, every thing forks fine except
    FN keys an volume buttons.

I also installed the latest "Vaio events" and still nothing.
Maybe some one had problem like mine,
(Maybe with different model) and can help me with this one.
    THANKS A LOT.

There is only one slot available and it's on the bottom. My TX's annoying fan ran all the time . It's quite a bit louder than the fan on my T. The left palmrest was very flexible and the unit itself felt fairly flimsy. The T feels like a piece of solid steel compared to the TX. The display/display lid is something that must be seen to get a full appreciation of the design. As has been mentioned by others that have a T and a TX it's not really worth the upgrade. I sold my TX and bought another T.
