    Curious to know if anyone else has noticed rubber pads on bottom of LCD screen making little indentations in (speaker grill?) I'm Very meticulous and can't stand to see something wrong with brand spanking new computer...
    If this happens to all of these then I'll learn to live with it...Figured you guys that's been using these for a while would be best people to ask....

    I'm not responding to your question, but wonder how you like the comptuter? I'm trying to decide between the VPC-F1290X or the Lenovo W510. The last three laptops I've owned have been Lenovos, but I'm seriously considering the Vaio. I am particularly interested in the touchpad. The Lenovo has a programable Synaptics touchpad that allows tap points, edge scrolling, and snap-to (although that may be a windows option). Does the Sony have any options for the touchpad operations?
