So I just got the w810i from Rogers and am wondering about some things.

    1. I've seen video reviews and the themes have 4 different such as emerge, orbit, walkman and somthing else. They tend to have different aspects where orbit will have orbiting thing in menu and walkmand is side to side and equalizer well, equalizes. However, my phone only has one menu style and when I try to change the theme to something else, the only thing that will change is the color of the background and the menu would be the same. Is there something wrong?

    2. I know that my computer has bluetooth but it won't connect. I did the show and all that stuff but it just won't add anything.

    1. yes there must be something wrong or missing in your theme files. each theme you mentionned there have their own icons and animation. did it came originally or it was modified?

    2. you have to pair your device first. there are many ways to do that. you can turn your bluetooth on your laptop first to be "discoverable" then on your phone, select "new devices" then "my devices" under the bluetooth menu and it should detect your laptop and set whichever passcode you like then both can be paired. After it's paired, then you can connect and transfer files between

    1. It was fresh out of the Sony Ericsson box at Rogers. Should I go to Rogers and complain? I haven't installed the PC suit that came with if that helps. Do I just have to download a firmware? or is the whole phone missing something.

    2. I tried making my bluetooth from computer discoverable but when I check the box it says it cannot be set to that and just quits.

how about trying the other way around? turn your phone's visibility on and have your laptop to search for the phone then pair it.

about the phone, i'm not sure how roger's themes are but maybe that's how it is. i'll ask my friend later who has a rogers w810i too to see if it's the same as yours. but my unbranded w810i does come with different animations for each theme you mentionned, and not only changing the background...

The weird thing is everything else works perfectly well except the themes and the bluetooth. And for some reason it won't install the driver when connecting the cell to comp.

P.S. I havent installed the PC suite because my computer is vista. Would this have any affect on the theme and bluetooth.
