    Hey NBRers,
If I bought a Sony notebook used and there is warranty left, how would Sony handle this? Would I need to show proof of purchase? I really want to buy used just to keep my cost at a minimum but I would like peace of mind with the warranty. If I don't get warranty with a used Sony than I may just have to buy new.

    Thanks,
    Steve

As long as you get the original receipt with the machine -witch shows when it was originally bought and where- from the previous owner warranty shouldn't be a problem. I'm not sure how it would work if you don't have that receipt, but i'm sure one phone call to Sony customers service can answer that...
