I've recently been consdiering getting a Sony FZ however I have one problem.
I don't quite understand sony's x-black screens. Do they deliver a good picture. And are they glossy or matt?

Glossy. And yes, they deliver good screen quality. The FZ's I've seen (at Best Buy and the SonyStyle) have very beautiful, bright screens.

I can second that; The FZ has a beautiful display that is vibrant with color.

The FZ is the first laptop that I've ever owned where I've been 100% comfortable with turning the brightness down to save power without it bugging me.

Thanks for the replies. I hoped they were glossy, which they are. A good display is always good.

Whats the difference between X-black LCD and High color X-black LCD. Does the second one produce a much better picture?
