For anyone who owns a white laptop, I'm just curious as to how well the "whiteness" is to maintain. At least to me, it seems like they'd be pretty hard to keep clean, and that dirt/smudges will eventually make the laptop seem like a blotchy mess (unlike a black/dark laptop which makes it much more difficult to see the dirt)...any owners wanna share their experiences?

Any white surface, over time will gradually yellow. I'd say give or take 3 years depending on how intensively you use your machine.

Matt surfaces are easier to clean and keep clean full stop. Glossy (glass-like) surfaces, which I'm assuming you are talking about, are fingerprint nightmares for any colour, including blacks. I'd suggest you carry around a good-brand (high quality) microfibre cloth if you are concerned with smudges. They will happen on glossy surfaces alot, I'll tell you now ^_^*
