    Sony's Order status website is BS!

    I ordered my Vaio FE on 10th. It said Estimated to Ship on 18th.

    Well 18th came and went. Now it says "unkown" for ship date.

    I called their cutomer service and they were clueless and have no idea when I will get my laptop. :mad:

    I am moving into my dorms this Saturday!! I need it before that to get it setup.

    I'm going through the exact same thing as you right now. I have called in twice and both times they said it would be shipped out by the end of the day. My shipdate is still unknown. I am going to give them a call back in the morning and ***** them out (again). :mad:

    I think i got through to them.
    I got an email yesterday evening saying it has been shipped out.
    I just got it in my house today.
    They gave me free overnight shipping i guess.

    I'm glad it all worked out for you. After talking to sony again, I should receive my sz tomorrow. I should have just went to the sony store and bought it there.

    Hi guys,

    Is it any cheaper when you buy it online?

    I never buy notebooks online for the simple reason being that I like to check for visible defects before walking off with the computer. If I'm spending so much money on it, it'd better look decent to me.

    Also, Sony themselves has stopped selling their VAIOs online over here. (Singapore)

    well in canada you can get the FE for $100 less if u purchase off the website right now.
