    Can someone else check if the Student discount for sony is working, I put the laptop in the cart, but there is no difference from the original price.

    Call the Sony CS, they will add it on for you! it should work on all models AFAIK..

    Edit: I just config AW 290 and it also did not give any discount.. strange, I would call and have them add it in + the usual $100 off they give you :D (gotta ask)

    does the student discount work on the CTO FW390 cause i'm planning to get one???

    also, to get the student discount do you have to register on sonystyle or can you just phone it in???

    The student discount as far as I know does not work on the TZ series when you try to add it on sonystyle.com . I believe some of the new notebooks are like that as well. Sometimes they don't update the system to reflect discounts on new or older products.
