    OOooh aaaaaaah.

Sure it's a lot more compelling than a T, but my guess is that it's going to cost a lot more than a T.

I bet it has crappy battery life :p

Are you now seriously comparing the high end Lenovo X1 (that costs more or less the same as the Z but is still heavier, thicker, slower and crappier screen) to the entry level VAIO T? Some people really do have 2 measuring sticks I guess.

This and the S9 get the screen right, everyone else should take notice. ASUS, you bezel's are too fat. Everyone else, your resolution sucks (HP Envy excluded for failing to meet weight).

    I don't think it will flex? :D

I would think this comes with ULV to help the battery life.

it is, I think around 1300 at least. They have the t430u to make the price range work.

a budget friendly comparison would be the u300s, they are consumer level machines.

lets hope that the battery life actually getts more than 4h this time, they are promising 10h, since its a thinkpad It should be close to that

    Do they have OrangeGate?

Seems like it's an achilles of IPS panels.

How on earth did Sony pass the design of the T11 for production? I looked at one today for the first time and that screen bezel is a huge, hideous joke!

Acer presented 11 and 13 inch Ultrabooks with FHD and touchscreen...

Asus with the new Prime series...

I think there is no market for the Sony UB :(

SVT11 isn't coming to the states apparently.

At the price of the lowest model, Sony has a pretty decent offering imho. As for high end, the Z has gotten cheaper mainly because it doesn't come with the dock anymore.

I just configured for testing purposes the T11 with I7, 8GB and 128 SSD. With student discount it costs 840 Euro. I think this price is below all the 11 inch UB with a very good hardware :)

But t the moment I am very lucky with my Z. Maybe there will be a T refresh with Win 8 and I will pull the Trigger and use the Z as my home station and the T for University!

    I've bought the T11 with ivy bridge i5, 8GB and 500GB disk for 739€

I think it is a great price/value ratio for a long battery device like this. It will last trhee week to come from sony...

I'm planning to change the 32GB pci-e ssd for a 128 one in a future maintaining the 500GB disk but removing the raid 0 to have two separate units.
I've been taking a look to the disk patition at the store and seems that there is something like a raid 0 of two different sized units (a patition of the disk and a 20GB partition on the ssd) plus a 12GB partition on the ssd for fast hybernation.

Does anybody has more information on intel ultrabook hybrid drive technology?
