FZ series has an 8400m GT in it. About the same as something in the 7600 series.

the new sony FZ190 comes with a geforce 8400M GT, its good enough for games but not for heavy gaming... u can play all games in a mid resolution... this card scores in 3dmarks06 between 2000 to 2500 points from my point of view is enough if your not a big demanding gamer.

when im saying yo can play all games in a mid resolution im refering to new games that demands hi graphics... older games or let say not the top newest games you can run them perfectly with a high resolution quality

Well, as an example, Flight Simulator X, which demands a lot from one's hardware runs reasonably well at high settings. Only in large cities does the framerate gets a bit choppy. So, I think the 8400M GT, with updated driver, is doing a pretty good job.

I think the AR series is supposed to release one with the 8600m GT in it.

Not in the 15.4 inch category. For that you'd have to buy a brick from Dell, Acer or ASUS. For casual gaming the FZ seems to be more than enough right now. If you really want a laptop for gaming, you either have to invest a fortune in something that looks like a portable discoteque and weighs about as much or into aforementioned bricks.

True, though somehow the 8600M GT on the Macbook has received pretty bad reviews. I don't really know why though.
