The Z was off the Sony website for a while, but now it's back, but without the epic 1080p screen option. Buh... when is this coming back, and is a new Z going to be released soon? I'm looking to pick one up for a little treat-myself graduation present.

I am afraid that if we answear you do not bother reading ;).

Seriously, didn't you read threads titles when opening the Sony forum ?
New : Vaio SA (May), Vaio Z (does not look like the Z at all, read the dedicated thread about it).

I humbly suggest that you wait till the summer for the new VAIO Z successor because every single member here (except me, to a certain extent) agrees that the new VAIO Z series is significantly better than the current VPC-Z in every aspects & it is without a doubt worth the pain waiting for it to be released. :D

    Good luck. :)

I'm stuck in this boat as well. My biggest issue is forward compatibility of peripherals such as ext. battery, leather sleeve and a/c adapter for the future Z.

    I love cookies. :)

Looking at that photo is making me hungry (again)! :( I need to go to my kitchen right at this moment to see if I can still find some cookies that are stored somewhere in the cabinets. :D
