    Hello,

I've reformatted my Sony SZ670 with windows - it works great however I can't find what I need to set up the SPrint wireless modem for this unit - I think I have the drivers for it to work as a modem but not the SPrint component. Can you please help me?

    Thanks

I'm looking through sprint.com and don't see any links - can you tell me where they are on Sprint's web site - preferably a direct link?

    Thanks

edit - I'm downloading the first from http://www4.sprint.com/pcsbusiness/support/downloads/items.jsp - not sure if it will work - if it does, I'll post - it takes a long time to download

Update - that doesn't install any drivers for a cell wireless- it only detects the intel wifi wireless card.

I tossed in the original hard drive with Vista - it is using a novatel expedite - that is all I can tell - driver modem.sys, nwusbmdm.sys. I haven't found any drivers for XP that work even though there are several novatel drivers on Sprints web page, none seem to be for this model novatel.

I've contacted Novatel, Sprint and Sony - they all say call the other guy or they point me to the Vista driver or XP drivers that don't have the driver for the modem in the 670.

Search for U720 on google or yet, install the vista ones.

I've used the vista drivers on my TXN27. It worked.

Thanks - no luck - I think the sz670n must have a different wireless sprint card from the other Sprint laptops. No matter what, I don't seem to be able to get it to recognize the drivers - I downloaded every one of those drivers on the Sprint page.

Thanks - unfortunately that doesn't seem to work on the SZ670n - in Vista it is listed in device manager as the Novatel expedite but I can't get ANY novatel driver I can find to work or detect this modem. I'm wondering if I need to modify something else for it to be recognized. I have a very vanilla install of XP.
