I have a Sony VGN TT190 with Sprint Mobile Broadband (EVDO) built-in modem. For the last few months I have not been able to connect to the Internet through this connection, even though the SmartWi status shows "connected" to the Sprint network. Any suggestions? Both Sprint and Sony (I have extended warranty) claim that they are not able to help, even though I have to continue to pay the monthly $60 connection fee.

All contracts that I have read have a clause in them allowing you out if they can't deliver service. You need to find out what is causing the problem. You need to be persistent with both parties until the problem is solved. Take it to a sprint store that has a tech person and have them see if it is a problem on their end.
