Stamina vs speed buttons don't work on VGN-SZ660N

i think my uncle has formatted the hard drive and install his vista business on my laptop, so basically i'm not using the original vista that came with the laptop, but everything is working except the S1, S2 buttons and Stamina vs speed switch

it doesn't do anything eventhough i switch it to speed mode, the light is still on stamina side, i tried to restart but i doesnt help, can anyone help me with that?

when i go in graphic property, it shows that i don't have any dedicated video card, and there's absolutely no "nvidia" stuff in my laptop now, but i got the sticker "graphic by nvidia" next to the intel and vista sticker. How do you think it is? is it because of the stamina and speed switch?

Did you install the operating system with all the drivers on the NVidia Chipset??
Have you followed the ínstallation order for dirvers given by Sony?

And jsut wondering, why did he instal his Vista Business, the SZ came with Vista Business...

 

oh i got the stamina speed switch working by installing the vaio power management tho, the only problem that i have is the s1 and s2 button

@DetlevCM: because he installed the ultimate at first but i didnt like it so he changed back to business and we dont have recovery disc so you know
