I bought the Sony Vaio X in January ('10) in London - amazing machine, wonderfully light for travel etc. Passing through Geneva airport on Friday evening to return home, I put the laptop through the security scanner and when I went to pick it up got a strong static shock from it. The next day.... no wireless card function. The retailer (John Lewis on Oxford St) replaced the whole machine, no questions. Anyone else experienced anything similar?
