    Hi,
So my sony vpcz122gx was stolen, and I'm wondering if you guys know anything about the serial numbers. How can I find it? I have the original box which was purchased from the Microsoft store.

There is a sticker with barcodes above the specifications on the box. the serial number is printed there.

Microsoft Store will also have the laptop registered in your name. You should be able to get the serial number from them.

    It's also on your receipt.

I hope you had a PAP policy. $20/year to protect your laptop is a deal in my opinion.

If you don't have a third party software installed, you may not be able to recover your laptop since in most case, serial number wont expose to the Internet.
