Just picked up a new SZ laptop at a Sony Style Outlet Store last night. After looking long and hard online, I can't find any information on Google regarding the unit I got. I want to know if it has the carbon fiber case before I open it.

    Box says it an VGN-SZ680NWC, T7250, 2 x 1GB, 80GB hard drive.

Anyone else have this model or have more information?

    Yup! It's a carbon fiber model if it's a SZ680

Awesome! Can't wait to crack open the box and pop in a new 250GB hard drive! Been looking at the SZ series since the SZ3xx.

Just remember upgrading the HD voids your warranty.
