    I have a Sony VAIO, model VGN-SZ330P.

    Once last week and again once this morning, I noticed the following in the System Log when looking at the XP Event Viewer

    ERROR SOURCE : nv EVENT ID : 14
    DESCRIPTION : Unknown error on L2 -> L1

    Whatever caused the above, did not BSOD or reboot - just the message in the log file.

    The only thing I have come across searching for the above, was at http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=35167
    where the same Event and Error id's produced a different description - in that case it was Unknown error on CMD.

    Just wondering if anyone has ever come across this before.

    I am going to post a similar thread in Nvidia.

    Thanks
