I was going do do a windows reinstall on my friends VAIO VGN-TX3XRP_B. The disc drive is broken so i decided to install windows from an SD card. But after i changed the BIOS primary boot device to card reader the computer freezes at the bios splash-screen. It wont read from SD and I can't enter BIOS settings, it just starts beeping when i press F2.
I've tried taking out the battery for 10 mins -didn't work.

Now, I know on some laptops its possible to do a hardware BIOS reset by shorting out two points on the motherboard so i was wondering if there's something similar for Sony laptops.

The actual model number is PCG-4H2P but it was sold in Russia and after searching the web it seems to be the same as VGN-TX3XRP_B, just different keyboard layout.
    BIOS brand is Phoenix
