    SZ120P/B specifically.

Any pointers to some good ones that are known to work on the SZ? Preferably a single program that will allow monitoring/control of the battery, fan speed, temperatures and throttling.

SpeedFan is good and customizable. I use it and it works with any notebook :D .

Thanks folks, I tried em both and they both seem to work nicely. NHC offers a bit more control though (e.g. over dynamic clock switching) and in the next release will have support for monitoring/controlling fan speeds - seems nothing can do that at the moment - and will integrate with the nVidia PowerMizer/SmartDimmer thing.

For the battery, the best app I found so far is BatteryMon. Pretty graphs and everything :p. I'll be using that to tweak my low-power settings for travel.

Edit: Bomfunk, NHC supports Core Duo already in the current beta (1.10beta2).
