I have a Vaio SR 190 and i'm trying to use the Google Code for two finger scrolling. I have a synaptics touchpad v7.0 with Driver 10.2.4 I have Chiralmotion and momentum enabled but the google code program keeps saying "Driver support for multiple fingers is already enabled but the driver still doesn't report multiple fingers. Either you haven't restarted the system yet or your TouchPad doesn't support multiple fingers." Can anyone help? Does my synaptics touchpad, not have multitouch hardware that other ones do?

Are you sure your SR uses a Synaptics touchpad? I did not think so.
I'll move your thread to the Sony forum, you may get more answers there. -

Have you guys tried the modded driver? http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=218872
It works on my Asus.
PS. I'll rename the thread and put it back to Hardware. -

In fact I made my Synaptics V7.0 on Toshiba A300 work with 2 and 3 fingers. Just instal 15.0.9 drivers: Synaptics TouchPad Driver 15.0.9.0 (HP) - LaptopVideo2Go Forums
It works in spite of it is for HP... -
