Howdy. After purchasing my FE38 today i launched the laptop to find the ridiculous amount of bloatware. While i knew this was coming, i was unaware of the System Recovery feature that could be used to completely restore the entire system

After having read BlackG35's guide to doing a semi-restore with recovery disks, i have a few questions about launching the process from the hard disk as opposed to the disks:

Will i need a Windows CD to install the OS if i launch a system recovery from the hard drive?

Can i choose what programs and drivers to reinstall or will it just install them bundled all together? this is the main reason i would launch this feature in the first place.

    Thanks.

No, the recovery partition automatically restores the Windows to it's out of the box state, but usually destroying the whole data on the target partition.
Sorry, i don't think so.You will have to kill all of them by your own hands.
