Just wondering if everyone else has this problem or there is something corrupt with my windows?

When I switch the graphics to Speed or back to Stamina my system tray icons get bigger and look distorted. The only way to get them back to normal is to go into the appearance settings and set the icons for another size, it will make them small again regardless of what size i make them.

I should add that playing with the captions dropdown item in Advanced personalization just distorts them to a horrible mess.

    Anyone else with this problem?
    Thanks.

Would someone just mind flipping their switch and tell me if their icons get bigger and look somewhat distorted?
If yours doesn't it means something is wrong with my windows.
I tried reinstalling the GPU but that didn't help.
    Thanks a lot.

Have you checked font settings and dpi scaling?

Also, which screen is that from? (laptop screen, HDMI, etc)

Thanks for the reply. This is the laptop screen.

I created a temp user and tried to mess up the icons and it was working fine, so it seems that messing with the appearance sizes messed up my windows user profile.

Do you know if there is a way to reset a user back to defaults in the theme settings etc?

I don't want to migrate to another user and move all my data.
    Thanks.

    FIXED IT

It was DPI scaling after all DUH. I don't recall messing with that but I must have over the last couple of days.
    THANKS!
