Sz when open case bends.

Its difficult to explain coz english not my native language.

I worry not to to break case and lcd when open notebook. Coz when i open lcd panel bends under the camera. And when i open allways it make some sounds. Like case bends. So what you think? I always open to this special ledge under the camera. I take and lift it but i see that at this camera when i lift it case bends. And always that not good noise from the case.

 

Do you have the premium (carbon-fibre) model? If so, I wouldn't worry too much because the lid is designed to handle torsional forces from opening and closing the lid for a long time.

 

But you now i am really worry. Coz its really bends i think too much in the place at the camera where case meets lcd panel. And that sound from case when open notebook at camera not so good too.

 

My SZ160 lid at the camera bends like that if I put enough pressure to open a can of coke. I get a very small gap/crack where the camera meets the screen.

 

Who has not a normal sound when open a cover of the case? On carbon model.
The sound goes where that in that place on additional fastening where the camera hangs.

i've gotten the crack sound as well. I thought it was the top bevel on the carbon fibre cover. The side opposite to the LCD seems to have two parts - the main cover and a small piece across the top with the sony logo on it.

I thought the sound was these two piees rubbing together.

It is interesting how many it will crackle before something will fall off it.
